View of the entrance stairs to the city hall. It was under these stairs that a Soviet "tankette" with emissaries offering underage "defenders" of this town hall to surrender, it was also under these stairs that a Russian emissary was shot by the Germans while his tankette was burned with a German "panzerfaust".
