A view of Tapanui crater from its southern end. The above photograph was taken in 1998, shortly after the Tapanui crater underwent intensive cultivation treatments. Unluckily, these treatments destroyed many of the original attributes of this UFO explosion site (e.g., they leveled the outlines of the inner craters that existed inside this crater).
