Img.373 from Malbork (#C1b)

Img.373 (#C1b): A small golden mosaic that exists on the outside of Kwidzyn Cathedral, presenting the scene of "The Beheading of St. John." It was made using the same technique as this mosaic covering the figure of the Teutonic Madonna from Malbork Castle. It also comes from the same period. However, since no ominous prophecy is attached to this mosaic, it may have survived untouched until our time.
