Img.367 (#H4c-#3): Detached configurations - see Img.053 (G10) in monograph [1/5]. In these: (a) propulsors are faced in the same manner as in the physical complexes and semi-attached configurations; (b) the character of the interactions is the reverse of semi-attached configurations, i.e. the main propulsors of both vehicles repel each other, whereas the side ones attract; and (c) there is no physical contact between the coupled vehicles so they keep apart at some distance from each other. But the magnetic interactions are so strong and steady that they maintain a stable and permanent configuration. Note that in these configurations the facing outlets of the side propulsors of both spacecraft must be joined by the columns of a highly concentrated magnetic field which catches the light and therefore appears as square "black bars" - see subsection G10.4. in monograph [1/5].
