Img.237 from Tropical fruits (#E4)

Img.237 (#E4): An indescribably sweet tropical fruit now called "ciku", while formerly spelled "chiku". Shown at the top of the photo is one whole fruit, while below is a fruit cut lengthwise in half with one half cut crosswise. This fruit is slightly oblong like a miniature rugby ball. Its size is similar to that of a "kiwi" fruit, a "passion fruit", or a medium-sized pear (known as a "dewberry"). The flesh contained inside is juicy with a brown color, looking like syrup or honey. It is also sticky from sweetness. The fruit also contains black, oblong, hard, inedible seeds (one of which can be seen in the photo) that look like black pumpkin seeds.
